The midwifery and obstetrics program at the German College of Medical and Technical Sciences aims to graduate qualified and trained cohorts of midwives so that the graduates are able to work alongside obstetricians and gynecologists, or within the health team in most areas of child and maternity work. Qualified theoretically and practically to deal with patients, provide appropriate care services to patients, and provide the necessary advice and instructions to them. The student receives practical and theoretical courses in midwifery and obstetrics, with special emphasis on the basics of midwifery and topics related to normal and abnormal labor and birth, family planning, reproductive health, and obstetric emergencies. The practical training part represents a very important space in this program, which qualifies students and graduates in practice for ease of dealing with practical reality and their rapid integration into the labor market upon graduation.
